LAVISHY: Fun Fashion Accessories
This year’s holiday gift shopping started earlier. From October, we already had customers to our store for holiday gifts.
We noticed customers become very careful with how much they would spend. One of the ladies used to live around our store but moved out of the city now. She came back and bought 15 gifts for her friends and family as well as herself (I really admire her for that—love herself.) She told me her budget and those who would receive their gifts. We figured the gifts out together.
I was very happy that I could help.
We have always offered free gift wrapping and greeting cards (first I love graphic design and paper goods. Second there is no stationary store around us so customer would have to drive to other place to buy a card). I have to say the cards were not well designed (my first 6 designs were not my best works) but I am quiet happy about our gift boxes—we have a lot of complement on that—they are our third version of designs by now. (I learn and improve.)
We used to invest in advertisement but no more—it did not work out for us. With the money, we put them to print cards and make gift boxes which will save the customers time and money on shopping around for cards and packaging.
I have a lot of customers told me they love our cards and gift boxes—that make me very happy to know that I make them happy.
I printed 180000 pieces of greeting cards so I still have a lot left by now. But I already have new and better designs finished. Could not wait to give these current cards out so I can start printing new ones.
From today, we start to offer free gift boxes, cards and bags for online store orders as well. I hope they are not only making people happy but also help them to save some money—today one of the customers told me two people in her family are unemployed. Lift is really not easy for many people. But I am happy and also very grateful that they still buy and give gifts. And I sincerely hope I can help.
Take care and best luck.
